The keyboard tester gives you a chance to check each and every button on your keyboard. When you press a key on the keyboard while using the keyboard tester site, a specific tab will be open to you where you will be required to press the key and check its functionality. This is a universal laptop keyboard tester with several test cable connector, you can use it to test any keyboard whose cable you can insert to the connector and fit in correctly. From my experience, any keyboard could be tested on this device whose cable is “similar” or the same to laptop keyboard like acer 5810t, 5830T, 3810T, asus g60 K52 N53, hp 6530s, g4-1000, SONY SVE15 EA, Samsung 350v5c, 300E5A, Lenovo Ideapad Y400, Y500, Y430, Z560, Thinkpad E420, T60, T430 most of MSI keyboard and so on. “Similar” here means the distance between the keyboard cable date line must be the same with the one of the keyboard models mentioned above. Besides those models, this device could be used to test keyboard of DELL D620 and thinkpad T60 or any keyboard which has the same connector.

How to use:

Connect the main motherboard wire bundle (20 or 24 pin) to the tester and then plug the power supply into a power source. When you turn on the Power supply the tester should quickly light up and show you which voltage tests are within specs. From this point on you should only connect one other line at a time.
